A 60-year-old woman is evaluated in the emergency department 1 hour after a motor vehicle accident. She had a whiplash-type injury and struck her head on the steering wheel but did not lose consciousness. She now has a generalized headache and cervical spine tenderness.
Neurologic examination is normal. A plain radiograph of the cervical spine is normal. CT scan of the head shows a 1-cm calcified, dural-based lesion overlying the right frontal convexity consistent with meningioma. With contrast administration, there is homogeneous enhancement. Repeat neuro imaging in 3 to 6 months , if still persisting abnormalities then do CT, MRI of brain followed by biosy and if its turn out into any tumor, then surgery, radio therapy..

surgical resection holds excellent prognosis in the commonest brain tumours ..the meningiomas and to be done before harmful effects are caused...

CALCIFICATION IS INDIACTING CHRONIC lesion. ..patient is asymptomatic seems like that ...so just wait and watch..i will go for answer b
