is the only one that causes a purely motor neuron disease. Poliomyelitis
virus attacks the anterior horn cells in the spinal cord

Poliomyelitis is a dsese of the anterior horn cells....caused by polio vrus..the rest of them are encephalopathies...and hence cannot be the answers...
