as far as your root ques goes carbamazepine is teratogenic, i think there is no significant harm during lactation.
kindly correct if i am wrong......

i think carbamazepine can be continued, correct if i am wrong....
never heard the first drug ...
i think when you answer tell us about the drugs which are unsafe during lactation , with the side effects that would be very informative

effect of drugs on lactation and neonate.
oral pills---------suppress lactation,
bromocriptine and ergots -----suppress lactation,
metronidazole----anorexia,irritability,blood dyscrasias
anti-thyroid drugs,radioactive iodine-----hypothyroidism,goiter agranulocytosis
cytotoxic agents-----risk of immune suppression
lithium-----lethargy,hypotonia,lithium toxicity
narcotics,sdatives and anticonvulsants-----sedation with poor suckling reflex
tetracyclines----teeth staining,delayed bone growth
