Hi members,
I'll be doing an observership at Jackson Memorial starting from tomorrow. Kindly if anyone have any idea how to gain the benefit of this training in order to use it in matching later?
I am appreciating any help or comment.

TheOne - 02-19-08 13:24 Be proactive, as rhadamersamos said !! Means do things or study for the cases without being asked to do that; Impress them by answering their questions; Interact with residents and faculty members, make some good conection with them. If they ask you to be there at 7 am, well be there at 6:30. If it's scheduled for you to be done by 5 pm, stay another 30 minutes and be the last to leave.
A friend of mine did that and now he's PGY-3 in one of the best hospitals ever in the US. Good luck.

radhamesramos - 02-20-08 10:25 Last year the cost of the observership at Jackson was US250 for three months maximun, one month minimun. That was i surgery, but I guess it is a standard price
