observership is when you don't get to touch the patient.You just observe how others are doing the job.But in externship you get to touch the patient .You do whatever is asked from you .clerkship is for students.Research is as we all know .You work under somebody who is doing a research.

Clerkshi is always the best to get, but extremely difficult. Observerships are easier to get, but soe PDs don't consider it an experience

clerkship as thats for the amg during 4thyr of med skool it ops the list of usce for fmgs externship as that is also during th emed skool ..last is obserevrship..research is a diff experinec as there u may not get to c the pts and the faculty either so hope this helps

you can get a clerkship if you are still in med school back in your coountr

to get one you got to call the programs and look up their websites and mail them as well, if youy are already here in the us better yet go personally and meet the students and know about others like you who have got clerk/externship follow thr route

U shud be a student to do a Clerkship. If u have graduated already, then u can do an Externship. Both are same in terms of exposure to patients. Both are the BEST.

and if graduated, very difficult to get, but if not graduated yet, yur university can apply for you
