25 yo woman 30 weeks pregnant presents to er with complaints of vaginal bleed and sever abd pain. She experince some irregualr contractions. PE shows 95beats/min and bp 134/80 and resp od 18/min. Fetal moitor strip shows variable decels and occational late dels. What is the substance of abuse?

Cocaine induced contraction of placental vessels and uterus-------Contraction of placental vessels leading to decreased blood flow to fetus--manifesting as placental hypoxemia and late deceleretions.

c. cocaine causes decreased placental ciculation and placental abruption...in severe cases may cause uterine rupture..........
