pencillin is the only recommended therapy for syphilis in pregnancy.In non-pregnant state tetracycline or doxycycline can be given in pencillin allergic patients.

i'm not sure but the standard treatment of syphilis is p[enicillin or doxycycline....here pregnant women maty need desensitisation...
