Re: pap smear 1 babbu5508 - 09-30-10 00:40 the first step in a proper evaluation of the intrauterine tissue, often necessary when postmenopausal bleeding occurs is endometrail biopsy. It is also sometimes done for certain types of abnormal Pap tests.
