20 years lady came to family physician that recently her boy friend was diagoned with HPV infection.She is worried that it is associated with Cx ca. you did the PAP that shows normal. what do you want to do next
a) Advice for using condom
b)Re evaluate her boy friend
c) Colposcopy
d)Serology for HPV on her
e)PAP after I year

ou did the PAP that shows normal. what do you want to do next...as the pap is normal, u advice the patient to come back for a pap next year

but the pap smear is normal...so there is no indication for colposcopy...rather wait for an year or do HPV testing..

Re: pap smear babbu5508 - 09-30-10 00:29 yeah agree with bobudevi...colposcopic directed biopsies are indicated in cases with an abnormal pap smear...rather HPV testing may be right...
