the clues are:
increasingly irritable and reclusive
over the PAST 4 years...this is the BIG CLUE!!

what means, it is a chronic progressive disease developing over the time, causing problems with memory, thinking and behavior

A. Alzheimer disease...problems in cognition, memory , behaviour with a gradual progression..there seems to be no abnormal/involuntary movements.

okay thanks for the explanation.. actually i was thinking along the lines of behavioral disturbance which are not seen frequently
