yes by mention of form 183, it looks like, it is regarding the fees for step 1 exam, yes, the fee will be deposited in your account if you are not verified and will be adjusted when your papers are processed, you can call up ECFMG askin the same, or write an email

hey sackatdoc tell me how is the payment made for doing electives ....what is the mode of the payment ..is it safe and what are easiest modes of payments do let me know

are you confusing the fees of ECFMG with that of electives.FEES FOR USMLE needs to paid on the website and you can find everything regarding that once you visit that site,for electives it will depend which program,or agency we are talking about, they will have their own modes of payment.

well thanks sackatdoc.....for electives i was talking about harvard and yale.....i have ruled out the option of fmg portal as i didnt get too many good reviews about it...
