conym5 - 03-31-10 23:50 pankaj is correct..these are febrile seizures..acetaminophin ll resolve the seizures, but recurrent seizures incidence rate ll be high in future..

THESE REPRESENT FEBRILE SEIZURES AND TO BE TREATED BY PROMPTLY REDUCING THE TEMPERATURE BY cold sponging and antipyretics...

the baby has febrile seizures probably due to fever resulting from pharyngitis.hence, hyperthermia to be controlled first with antipyretics..and seizures would decrease with phenobarbital
