Personal Statement (PS) is a vital part of your application to any program, Program Directors (PD), coordinators, and sometimes residents, may go through your PS to know a little bit about "Who you are".
A Well-written PS is very important, as you will have the chance through it to show "How & Why" you're interested in this specific specialty, also "What" makes you different from the other candidates. I describe it as "One Page to Impress" since all other documents are similar in it's content.
I used a professional company to help me out through writting mine, and that's what I recommend for every IMG who, obviously, have never wrote one !!

Be careful, it is the most important part that describes you in brief,so it should be very nicely prepared becoz it is always read by the PDs.

There are some webpages that have drafts of different PSs, and form there you can find the one that suits you, if not sure, contract a company to write it for you as said before by one of our members.
