streptococcus is the most cause of pneumonia in nursing home patients.....

The most common causative agent of hospital acquired pneumonia or nosocomial pneumonia is Pseudomonas,hence I go wid d.....other answers r responsible for other types of pneumonias.

the most common cause of hospital acquired pneumonias is psedomonas pneumonia and the same could have been the case here...
