A 28-year-old pregnant patient comes to the office for a routine physical examination. She is in her 18th week of pregnancy with no complaints. Examination and fetal ultrasound are normal. tha patient is asymptomatic with an elevation of liver enzymes which could be a hepatitis of pregnancy which subsides later.
