severe head injury in child: condition of child at the time of presentation in ER
COPD: FEV1
bronchial asthma: fev1, pefr
GBS: forced inspiratory capacity
alzheimers: response to drug therapy like donepezil
multiple sclerosis: early age onset-optic neuritis(better), extrapyramidal signs (worse)
infant botulism: early diagnosis and trest-better, cranial nerve deficits initially-residual defects
