I stumbled on the net on this website..FMG portal which promises externships for IMG, does anybody know about this site?Is it accredited? How much does it cost? Is it helpful?

I have already mentioned in my reply to yur previous post that they usually attach u with private pratitioners and not with teaching hospitals.But, one may get some hands-on experieince in the doctor's office.In that sense the positions they offer r not accredited.
Their fees range in few hundred dollars per month .U can write an email to them to get more info on this.Ye, some sort of US experience is obviously better than nothing.
On the other hand, it is difficult to get hands-on externsips in teaching hospitals.So, one has to be satisfied with an observership where one is not usually allowed to touch the patients.
