Query About Transcript n Deans Letter

During scramble i can use my dean letter which is 2 ys old or its better to ask for ECFMG letter and how long it will take to apply for it?
the second Q about the usmle transcript it's important to have it for scramble? and if i apply for it from fbms.org how long it will take ? does it has other purpuse to be use other than scramble?

It is far better to use yur Deans Letter than asking for a Neutral filler Letter from the ECFMG.One does not need to get a Deans Letter reissued.
If during Scramble u r thinking of sending yur application to programs thro' fax or e.mail then it wud be better to send yur USMLE transcript as well.
All Examination and Board Action History Report (EBAHR) requests are processed by the FSMB as they are received.The Federation issues official transcripts within 5 business days of receiving the completed EBAHR request and appropriate fee.
