The bio-synthetic path way of Coenzyme Q 10 and cholesterols are common. Melovalonate, intermediate precursor of Coenzyme Q 10, is inhibited by Statins. So in this case use of rosuvastatin may reduce level of Coenzyme Q1o. However, Coenzyme Q 10 metabolized via Liver. Use of Aspirin may prolong half life as Aspirin is hepatic enzyme inhibitor. Subsequently, there is less metabolism of Coenzyme Q10. I think the benefit outweigh small risk. Anyone have any idea ?
