Plz tell me if a patient is diagnosed to have a cold nodule in thyroid ,what should be the next step? if no symtoms can we leave it like that ?if not what to do?kindly reply.

Re: Question on Thyroid Cold Nodule kwasiprince - 03-08-11 23:49 i will advise subtotal thyroidectomy after patients consent! reason: it may have pressure symptoms later or even could become malignant with mets to various organs!

Re: Question on Thyroid Cold Nodule babbu5508 - 03-31-11 11:41 may be you can do a fine needle aspiration just to be sure before going to the surgery so that the diagnosis is not missed
