Re:Regarding B1/B2 Vsitor Visa
bingousmle - 05-03-10 06:42 it should not affect in anyway... just make sure that you have a sufficient bank balance to convince the visa officer that you have enough funds to support your stay in the US...

Mentioning anout yur brother as a sponsor will not affect u adversely at all. But, mentioning that u r unemployed will not be looked upon as good.It wud have been better if u had mentioned that u work at least at some private institution/hospital.It is even much better to carry a job letter with u.This reassures the visa officer that u will return back to yur country after taking the exam, etc.
Good Luck!

As u have already shown yur status as unemployed, so u shud not now tell them that u r employed. However, u can tell them or show them the proof that u r currently doing a clinical observership which does not constitute a paid work. That way u will not be contradicting yur own statement and will also be showing them that u r currently busy with somehing important.
Good Luck!

bingousmle - 05-17-10 07:35 @docjay... if you are talking about the 10 year multiple entry, that means your visa is valid for 10 years that is you need not apply for another 10 years for a visa as a visitor....

That means u can enter the US anytime in these 10 years. But, remember that the actual permission to stay in the US will be granted to u by the immigration officer at the port of entry.Only he/she will decide the length of time u will be staying in the US.On a B1/B2 visa one can stay in the US at stretch for 6 months, and can apply for an extension as well.
