can someone tell me .....

i m not sure if i should fill up yes at the spot where internship/ clerkship requried for my degree ? in reality i dont need internship to get my degree, but i have done 1 yr of housemanship (or u can say 1 yr of clinical experience) after graduation. my doubt is, if i say yes , will it be helpful during my match and it will be a lie as i do not require internship for my degree. and if i say no, where can i mention about my 1 yr clinical experience?
