i paid my CS fees three days back bt i cant access the dates n fix ma test centre as the calender thing says "our records indicate tht yu r not registered for step 2 cs" HOW MANY DAYS DOES IT TAKE TO GET REGISTERED FR THE CS?? APPROX AFTR HOW MNY DAYS OF PAYIN THE FEE WIL THE CALENDER THING OPEN FOR ME? reply fast undr a lotta stress

This is what the ECFMG says about it:
"ECFMG will process your application and determine your eligibility to take the exam(s) you requested. ECFMG processes applications typically within three weeks of receipt of the complete application. If you are a student enrolled in a medical school that participates in EMSWP or if you are a graduate of a medical school that participates in EMSWP and your medical education credentials have not been primary-source verified by ECFMG, ECFMG cannot complete the processing of your application until your medical school verifies your status through EMSWP. ECFMG will make your record available to your medical school and request verification typically within three weeks of receipt of a complete application. The time needed to complete the processing of your application is contingent upon your medical school's response to the EMSWP verification request.
ECFMG will notify you by e-mail when your application is received. You can check the status of your exam application on-line using OASIS."

If nothing is pending in yur application, then u donot need to worry at all.ECFMG will issue yur scheduling permit in a few days.

you are most welcome... but you have to be very quick for taking a date as it is gone very fast... what i did was i created a separate email account and linked it to my phone so i got an alert as soona s a new date was available... but all this after you get your permit...
