I used this service while i interving this season,,,,,,bascially they find open spots or places were ppl wana swap,,,,,,,,,,,,,it good ......because i did apply to some of their openings,,,,,,,,,, they give you all the infomation of the open Residency program so you make the call,,,,,,,,, they have a little more spots then finda resident WEB site,,,,,,,,,,,,,, they dont grant a spot ,,,,,,,,,,,which is what a like,,,,,,,,,,,,they will basically give you the open resdicney and it;s up to you to call send info and see if you a picked by the Program Director,,,,,,,,,,,

yes!!!

But what is interesting is that they offer open spots in there, sounds kind of funny, since these are difficult to find close to the Match (not for saying impossible)... difficult to believe, but hey, who knows?

No problem,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Just think of it as Find a resident and openspots.com,,,,,,,,,all 3 web site give you information and you must call and see if you qualifify,,,,,,,Think like ERAS we apply and if a hospitals like An Applicant then they as you for an Interview ,,,,,,,,,,,,,so it this same type of response,,,,,,,,,,,,,,May the Better Man win,,lol,,,lol,,lol,,,,, around Dec a position that i did not want opened(residency swap) so i call any ways and then when i spoke to the residency coordinator asked me what my USMLE scores were ?? That was ok then she asked me what were my GPA in med school ,,,, i was like whatever ,,,,,,,,,,,,, so be prepared for strange questions,,,,,,,,,,,,GOOD LUCK ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yay one week till Match DAY,,,,,,,,,,,

so basically they want the applicant to fit their criteria to the T , just like th ematch and the interview process, is that not the bottom line!!

BAsically,,,,,i feel when a Hospital has An open position out of the season, it;s like a bad break-up between a boy and a girl,,,,,,so the next time around they want to make it rite ,,,,So i think you have a better chance on MATCH then out of season Residency position,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Imagine they have been burned ,,lol,,lol,,lol,,,lol,,lol,,,

I thought the same when 2 years ago I started using Find-A-Resident, so far haven't worked for me, don't know if it is my credentials or just bad luck, but haven't worked out of me
