Bingo is right.
U donot need any mandatory registeration with Medical Council of India in order to apply and appear in USMLE steps.
All u need is that u must have completed two years of yur medical school and must be enrolled in a medical school enlisted in the IMED(International Medical Education Directory) of FAIMER.
