residency chances

I am an ENT specialist, graduated in 1980, got specialty degree in 1984. passed usmle step I , II, and III in 1998,( step I score 84, step II score 78, and step III score 75, all in the first attempt).What are my chances in getting a residency in family medicine. Thanks.

In case that your ECFMG certificate is valid indifinitely, then your chances are good. Try community-based programs.

If you post a question as a guest you won't score points. This person did not ask his/her questions as member and hence point go to database uncollected. "ask_question" is made by the system when a person posts a question as a guest and its generic. No worries :)

Thank you the one for your reply. Do you recommend certain states or certain programs?. And does it help if I have the LMCC( the license of the medical council of canada) ?

I recommend you be aggressive and apply everywhere. don't put any limitations concerning states or programs.

LMCC helps.
