The Framingham risk score is a composite measurement tool used to predict the absolute risk of major cardiovascular event development in 5 and 10 years. Gisondi et al. recently used this tool and found that individuals with chronic plaque psoriasis have a moderate risk of developing future cardiovascular events. All of the following factors are used to calculate the Framingham risk score EXCEPT:
1. Age
2. Gender
3. Body mass index
4. Smoking status

sudha2015 - 01-20-11 09:35 body mass index. The Framingham risk score does not consider body mass index in its composite measurement. It does include age, gender, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, systolic blood pressure, smoking status, and diabetes mellitus.
