Hi
I have heard that foreign students who clear through USMLE are not allowed for a few electives like surgery and stuff.
Is this true and if it is which are the residencies which are not allowed to be taken by the foreign students?

IMGs,as such, r not banned from getting into any of the specialties.
However, there r specialties like ENT, Dermatology,Orthopedics,etc which r very difficult for IMGs to get into.
