B- USCE would be more preferable, remember, if you can do both then you will impress more.

Re: step-3 and match radhamesramos - 03-28-08 10:47 I think that is up to the PD. But in my humble opinion, USCE is way more prefered than Step 3. The thing is what do PDs consider valid USCE and what they don't. To some PDs observership or shadowing are not valid USCE, to some it is.

Re: step-3 and match doctor1 - 03-30-08 12:08 its true that in psych and obgyn step 3 is equally important, as once u r in these residencies the cases are far differnt form medicine , so its betetr if step 3 is atken b4 as it has 80%of qnos from emdicine which can be tough if a pgy3 from anestehsia or psych oy obgyn wants to go for it with minimal preparation.
