I know that the 2007 edition is out tere but have no idea on 2008. You should start preparing now, using the available commercial materials (Kaplan, Goljan, etc.) and trying to subscribe with one of the well-known Qbanks (usmleworld, Kaplan, etc.). Make yourself a good plan and a fix schedule so you can be done with the review in 6 months. Good Luck.
