Does Your course include live timed encounters with trained standardised patients?
How many encounters do u allow for each student?
I think that is what helps the most.
It would be better if u elaborate further on that for the benefit of members of the forum.

No, it is because the people who claim to train students for Step-2CS charge a lot of money from them.In order to avoid falling prey to some of their hollow claims, and lose your huge sum of money,it is essential that the students get to choose the best course if they really need the one.
I think you have a habit of making baseless accusations.Sorry to say,but I can not help it.

I am the type of person who allows everyone to prove themselves,whether it be the course sponsors or the applicants.Each one has the equal right to substantiate their claims with solid proofs, and afterall ,applicants have a right to know the truth about the various courses.

I am sorry I did not reply earlier. I will answer your questions.

Yes this is a LIVE course. There will be various SP encounters covering all major topics. This is the only way to do it! There is no substitute for a Step 2 CS course. A book can only teach so much. Phone and Skype is not enough. A video is not enough. You need to rehearse with the proper format and technique to pass this exam. Though this exam is not as difficult as the other steps, please don't underestimate it. People who do are the ones that don't pass. The encounters are timed and as close to the exam conditions as possible. I am able to do maybe 12 cases with some students. Sometimes I can even do 25 cases. It all varies on the student, they are all different. Some may need more help interpersonal skills. Others may need it in data gathering. I assess the needs of every student and teach targeting their weaknesses. So the whole point is to send you back home comfortable that you now have the best chances to pass the exam. My stamina usually outlasts my student and I really care to go the distance to give an intense course that will totally change their approach and perspective to this exam. The course is priced cheaper than all other competitiors. I know it is not easy for the IMGs out there. I want to give real value for your money you won't find elsewhere. Really in some places, people just don't care about you.

It really is worth the distance, cost and energy to consider a preparatory course. There are many quality courses out there. STEP2IT takes similar concepts, "the best of all worlds" and combines it into a 2 day class, teaching you A-Z all you need to know about Step 2CS. All high yield tips, logistics, data gathering tips, scoring tips, physical examination techniques, patient notes, communication, interpersonal skills and professional interaction will be covered.

"sackatdoc" you seem to be angry? I don't understand your frustration. We are professionals, I'd ask that we all be polite. I apologize to the forum if I should have posted this in the classified section. I want to assure everyone there there are no hollow claims at all here nor anything to fall prey to. My reputation rests on it and I am glad to say it is stellar. I have had great success and students from all over the world. The proof is in the results. There is plenty of positive feedback from them.
