i failed my step3(70)
got only i iv ,does this failure will effect my chances to get matched?
secondly do USMLE transcripts also include your step 3 score report?

Re: step3 scre and match TheOne - 02-06-08 18:38 It will have minimal effect at this time of the year, as we get closer to the big day. If you assigned your USMLE transcripts to be send to the programs "Automaticlly" then Yes, it will be included.

minafazil - 02-06-08 19:49 i was relieved when i got interview call even after few days after my bad result,,but now i am worried that will it effect may ranking status by the program.
i am us citizen credetials 82,80,CSA passed.ECFMG certificate valid indefinitely,
Graduated 1997 OBGYN RESIDENCY IN HOME COUNTRY,6 MONTHS EXTERNSHIP IN USA,lot of volunteer clinical work in usa....does any one think Step 3 was a big mistake for me as i didnot pass?
i am really worried this time,as trying to get unmatched since last 3 years

But u never said if u chose 'automatic' transmission or not in the ERAS. If not, then it will not be updated unless u do it!

Re: step3 scre and match doctor1 - 02-12-08 10:08 usually the transcript incldes ur score step3 , esp if u checked the automatic transmit option when u apply for step 3 , but in case u did not mention about ur staep 3 during the interview or the eras application chances are it may go unnoticed , so it depends mostly on that and moreover with feb21st around in the corner i dont think the programs would download all the fax they get and verify before they rank the candidiates unless u strongy mentione dit in ur pplication.
