Thank you for your answer.about steps taken in 2002. Indeed, last year I submit my ERAS application to suitable programs in IM. NOBODY CALL ME, NEITHER FOR THE SCRAMBLE AND POST SCRAMBLE OR FIND A RESIDENT My CV is: Residency already, 2 LoR from top five places in US, US clinical experience, (previous clinical fellowship) I waited 5 years, so my question is because I really want to take the steps again : DO I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL FEB and MAY 09 (date when my tests expires) to starting over ?

Because there's a time-limit for taking the tests and another one for its' expirey and since you "really want to take the steps again" you have to wait till the dates you gave to retake them. I believe it's a good idea too to check the usmle.org website or even call tem about your concerns.

So u gotta wait.
U can try for this Scramble though.

Re: steps again drtonycamuy - 01-07-08 23:24 take a look at the information i previously posted. i dont think you should take the test again.you have already passed, and a know people whom have enter residency programs with very low scores. dont give up
