strategies for scoring in STEP3

i have known this beyond any element of doubt that USMLE exams are all about having a STRATEGY, you score if you have it along with safe level of knowledge, YOU JUST pass if you lack either one of the two mentioned,and of course fail if you lack both,so people those who have anything to share with me on this regard please come foward, and be rest assured i will share mine.
now THAT i am planning for STEP3, I will be waiting for inputs eagerly.

sackatdoc - 09-27-08 05:32 Nobody seems interested in sharing strategies i guess, so i will post what ever i can think of.
1. going deeper in theory could be harmful
2. not knowing the rarest detail of the commonest disease is hazardous.
3. Not paying attention to details and special awkward remarks in the question would cost you.
4. use lot of common sense
5. make memory aids for everything you fear you will forget.
