Differential diagnosis of Sudden loss of vision:

(1) Central Retinal Artery Occlusion:
- H/O: PROFOUND sudden loss of vision
(Cherry red spot in retina on opthalmoscope)



(2) Central retinal vein occlusion:
- H/O: VARIABLE sudden loss of vision
(Disc swelling, venous dilataion, retinal hemorrhage, cotton wool spots)



(3) Amaurosis fugax:
Curtain falling vertically across one eye
