a female medical student underwent laparoscopic appendicectomy for reccurrent appedicitis..on 7th POD fecal fistula developed from the site.treating surgeon assured her that it will stop...the discharge persisted for 7 months during which she lost 7 kgs. and during which she used to get intermittent pain and swelling,followed by fever and discharge ........what coul be the cause....

well try giving it a shot ......as there is no harm if you make mistakes but you will get to learn from those mistakes.....we all make mistakes and learn from them ....

very weird a case , a fecal fistula developing after an appendecectomy , neglected for seven months which caused the poor thing get pain and fever.. was the structure that was removed appendix or something else...like... like meckels .. though not very sure since it happened in an adult...so the age defies..

the female was explored to find the clip which was applied to the appendicular stump had given away..................

you are a good sport buddy .....well von graefe's sign is when the patient is asked to look up and down ,upper eyelid cannot cope up with the speed of the movement of the finger because of the lid spasm.hence the lid lags behind....

keep the fingers in the right hypochondrium n ask the patient to take deep inspiration, at the height of inspiration there is sudden catch in the inspiration...its due 2 inflammed gall bladder...this is murphys sign ....

well and boas sign is an area of hyperaesthesia between the ninth and the eleventh ribs posteriorly on the right side is a feature ...
