Painless testicular mass ---> scrotal ultrasound ----> if suspicious ---> CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis + serum tumor marker levels (alpha fetoprotein, beta HCG) ----> if result equivocal & suspicion high ----> radical inguinal orchiectomy

never biopsy..important think to bear in mind when dealing with testicular tumours because it might cause tumour spread...
