can anyone please tell me what the take home pay will be during residency?! my annual stipend is around 46000$. residency in IL
will be living with my two children so a little worried!

Re: take home pay! radhamesramos - 03-26-08 11:17 The salary is based in what an average living family of four (and even five) will need to live tightly. You would be able to pay rent, food and transportation. Of course that depends where in Illinois: is not the same Chicago than Springfield...but if you are a person with discipline, the money will be enough. Another thing, the more dependents you have, the more you'll take home every two weeks

Re: take home pay! doctor1 - 03-26-08 12:15 thats true as u will be including the number of dependents in ur tax forms, on an avg the monthly income will be 2,200 with tax deductions for a single eprson with no dependents , now how much can u save depends entirely on the cost of living and ur choice of life,
