I took my test and after finishing history and physical i said that i need to run some tests to be sure what is going on and once the test results will come i will sit with you again go over this once again and discuss the best treatment options available .but i was not sure what is the diagnosis .
so did i did a blunder not to talk about D/ds man

Not discussing the differentials is a point taken away BUT dont forget that the rest of the work you have done is considered. Telling the pt that you are to do labs etc. and coming back later with results is a good thing (I have done that it in my exam). Just relax and wait...don't panic :)
