Correct ,Barrium swallow is diagnostic tst in Zencker diverticulum.Endoscopy and NG tube are contraindicated here because the high risk of perforation .

A simple barium swallow will normally reveal the diverticulum. Endoscopy should not be performed due to the risk of perforating the diverticulum.

for zenkers barium swallow is the best diagnostic test however it is important to remember never to answer endoscopy as it can lead to perforation
