nidayasir - 04-29-10 20:28 hello thnx fr ur email well,i really dont know y m sayng all this bt m bit depressed n theres no one whom i could tell this.....one question that i want to raise here in this forum....bro adonis if u remmebr i asked u fr SLE refrences of buks? n u told me alot i hv been preparng fr that fr so long.cz i got here job in a reputed hosp on a good position though m nt specialised still they offered me specialised position cz they needed a female dr ,with gud salary n extra benefitsjust had to pas SLE that i was preparng fr..suddenly last day i heard my husband gt job in an othr city.u cant imagine i started cryng cz in my native country my papers hv been stamped given by ths hosp.so tht i could only work in ths hosp m totally disturbed it seemd as everythng finished my career ended before it could gt a start n i thought wd it occur again there too...in that city?cant a female dr make her career after marriage?she just hv to run a family ?to take care hr children n to depend on husband ?

Sister,I understand yur situation very well.It must be really very difficult to not be able to do this very promising job.It is a great sacrifice which yur family is demanding from u.But, I donot understand why only females r to make sacrifices always.In my opinion , both parents need to make sacrifices for their familiy.I know how hard is it to leave one's dream aside for the sake of one's family.
Everyone, be it a male or a female, has a right to build their career after their marriage.A wife has a complete right to work and be self-dependent.I feel there is an urgent need to talk to yur husband about this issue and work for an amicable solution.If he is a nice husband he will surely help u pursue yur dream and do everything possible to understand yur point.
But, at the same time, I wud request u to understand his compulsions,if any, for working in another city.
