Un of Louisville sending letter in Psych

Hi
I interviewd at U of L Kentuky ,Psychiatry and Igot the feeling they prefer AMG more than FMG, However yesterday I got email from them saying they consider me highly in there list and also "this email only sent to few selected applicants" !! Does anyone else get the same email? I feel this just to make sure everyone will rank them highly. Please any feedback

Re: Un of Louisville sending letter in P InSitu - 02-05-08 14:46 Yes just be careful with that. There are many incidents where an applicant thought they have been ranked high by the program and they end up without anything. Visit NRMP.org and look for the guidlines.

What Insitu means here is for you not to put so much hope in them.
I would rank them high, nothing to lose, right?

Re: Un of Louisville sending letter in P zeeec2000 - 02-05-08 15:28 exactly nothing to loose I do not care if I matched anywhere beside if I rank them the last in my list. still the system will first try to rank me in my first choice if filled it will godown for second one and go on till I reach a program rank me high that's it so why should I care if Iput them high or not even if the PD is fooling with us
