spontaneous subacute bacterial peritonitis is managed consevatively, while the ones caused by perforation, stab injuries all are manged in OR, THIS WHAT I THINK.

1.SBP
2.Diverticulitis
3.Pancratitis

thank you so much for adding the other two!!!for diverticulitis ,i'll like to add ,must have an colonoscopy to rule out undelying cause like cancerous growth in elderly.

sure we will learn alot, skill comes as you come in contact with patient more and more, taking detailed history is something good to start with, reading about that case then is very enriching, then the fact goes in long term memory, NEVER be AFRAID of being WRONG, this rule is key to know more things.one shouldnt be defensive when someone corrects you rather clarify your doubts instantly,happy reading, Niusha.

And you will be successful too, coz no exam scores defines who you are, helping even one patient in the best way that you could, does, coz thats what we are writting exams for!!!And thats the end of every thing.

i remember it to be spontaneous bacterial peritonitis..development of peritonitis despite the absence of an obvious source for the infection
