USMLE prep sites with free questions

Hi guys. Just started studying for my USMLE step 1. Doctok is really good. I'm surprised by the quality of the questions here. Well most of them anyway! Hopefully this is going to translate into good results. I've been looking at other prep sites around Kaplan, USMLE world etc.

I was interested to find www.meditribe.com. Its a free+paid site with a lot of free community questions too.

wikiprep was not as slick as meditribe but had a decent selection of questions.

Any ideas about how to integrate studying from Kaplan notes with USMLEworld?

U r welcome to Doctok!
Use UWorld not only as a learning tool ,but also as a tool to assess yur current level of preparation.
The first time UWorld average score is a strong predictor of one's current level of preparation.Any score above 60% is good ,but to do the best on yur USMLE tests try to score greater than 70%.
Write all the explanations from UWorld and revise them again and again after doing it first time.Do not only concentrate on the correct answers.Put more stress on the topics which have been touched in the questions and their explanations.
If u score less than 55% on UWorld first time then that is a strong indicator for u to improve yur style of study and go again thro' yur high yield study material.
Finally, u can also use the UWorld Self Assessment tests a few weeks before the actual exams.
U can use Wikitestprep and Medtribe as practicing tools as well ,but remember they cannot substitute for UWorld and Kaplan Q Banks.
Good Luck!
