USMLE Step 3
ask_question - 12-18-08 12:13
I am preparing for Step 3. I failed 2 times before. Now I am trying to read everything,Current med Diagnosis,USMLEworld and Kaplan Q bank, also CCS
I know usmleworld very well, because I have done them before. Still, the score is not that high, just in 70%.So, I just read the answers.
It helps, but on the actual exam I am doing unpredictable mistakes
What do you think about NBME test?

winner123 - 01-14-09 01:48 As far as I know that people say that the NBME does not correlate well with the actual exam.
It is better not to depend solely on its score.NBME does not test CCS.
Prepare well and read your theory very well. The problem here seems about your basics regarding this exam.
Refer to the other post on preparation for the usmle step-3.you will get a better idea.
For CCS do the U world interactive CCS and the CCS on the First Aid.
May be you are not getting the CCS right on your exam.Practice hard your CCS.
Good luck.
