drspleen - 03-21-11 18:52 TB of the kidney results from hematogenous spread. Most patients present with symptoms of bladder irritation without associated constitutional symptoms of TB. Urinalysis may reveal pyuria, hematuria, and proteinuria. Repeat urine samples should be sent for mycobacterial culture.
