These are all IM, I just wanted to know how other doctors would rank them.
1. Metrohealth (Cleveland)
2. Medical College of Wisconsin
3. University of Nevada Las Vegas
4. Banner Good Samaritan
5. Kalamazoo/Michigan State University
6. West Virgnia University (Charleston)
7. Maricopa (arizona)
8. St. Joseph (arizona)
9. Exempla St. Joseph (Denver)
10. Franklin Square (Baltimore)

Re: want your opinion mindswapper - 02-05-08 15:27 Dude, it has to be you and only you who should know where you wanna end up.
You would have the environment and the residents and would have had first hand experience. Follow ur instincts.
Think abt the opportunities for ur future there (research, fellowship, contacts, etc). If u have a family, think of that too!

I just wanted an opinion from others who knows about the above programs in terms of reputation and training. I know at the end I have to decide what will be good for me, but it sure does help to know more information.... Thank you so much and please if any other can give more input, I would greatly appreciate it...............

Re: want your opinion mindswapper - 02-07-08 16:32 1. Do not try to estimate ur chances in a program from the words of the PD or somebody.
2. Choose the one which best 'suits' u, in terms of ur present situation and future plans.
3. If you are a very good & competitive candidate, then rank the Univs at the top!

Re: want your opinion radhamesramos - 02-09-08 17:23 You went to the interviews and ou know what are the weakness and strenghts of the program and how it would adapt to yourself. However you rank them s ok, as long as you like it
