Hi Guys,
What resources do I need to prepare for Step 3 exam?

The Step-3 materials alongwith their ratings r:
1. Archer's Step-3 Material(very good)
2. Master the Boards(very good)
3. Kaplan Step-3 Materials(Latest Edition)(Good but voluminous)
4. Premiere Review(Good only for Passing)
5. First Aid for Step-3(Good for Quick Review)
6. Crush Step-3(Not so High yield)
7. USMLE Step-3 Algorithms( Good for Review)
8. USMLE World /Kaplan Q Banks(A Must-have)
9. USMLE World CCS/ Archer's CCS Workshop(A Must-have)

So, choose from the above materials.

Preparation time varies from for 2-4 months.

Every score is possible.Just prepare hard.Concentrate on the CCS portion.

For test center information visit the www.prometric.com.One can take the exam only in the US.

In order to register visit the website: www.fsmb.org and fill up the online application there and pay the exam fees.Choose one of the states out of Connecticut,Virginia, etc. which donot require an applicant to have any accredited US experieince to take the test.Whatever state u register with does not necessarily mean that u need to take the exam in that state.U can take the exam anywhere.

Good Luck!
