Where to put house jobs in ERAS

HI all experienced people specially from pakistan I have a q about ERAS application the guidance from others is also welcomed .so let us go to wards q in pakistan after grad there is one yr housejob in ERAS application where to put that experience some say in REsidency some say in work experience so for me it is great delimma cud any body let me know where to put it thanks

Re: Where to put house jobs in ERAS radhamesramos - 05-05-08 12:05 I am not from Pakistan, but in my country we have to do the same job in order to get the medical license, so what I did was that in my application I put this experience as work experience, not under residency.

bazeee - 05-05-08 16:22 But they do have one column for residency in my understanding housejob is residency that is why i put it under that column instaed of work exp in last match but many of the people say that i shud have put it under work exp.Any other person comments

Re: Where to put house jobs in ERAS radhamesramos - 05-06-08 13:46 If you feel it was really a residency job, put it under residency (it will give you extra points). PDs will ask you what you did, and then they will consider if it was a job experience or a residency experience

Re: Where to put house jobs in ERAS TheOne - 05-08-08 21:10 I think house job should be categorized as "Experience" and NOT "Residency". I have had 2 years of post-graduation "Rotation" aka "Internship" that I listed under "Experience".
