To tell you the truth, the problem with the Philadelphia center is that is the first and actors are more experienced. I took it there and passed, but did it in the afternoon, probably that helped; in the afternoon, cases are lighter and the actors are tired (not all, but some stay for the two sessions) that's what one Actor I ran into the streets days after my exam. Also in Philadelphia you have a very good chance of having a pediatric case (without the child), which everybody I know that has taken it in Philadelphia, including me (2) has had. So, I don't know the other centers, but they said Atlanta is really nice, but not very easy to get if not from there.

They've been more in the business, they are there since it was only the CSA, and this was the first center

CS is very tricky. I know a freind who passed the CSA at the first attempt and became ECFMG certified. He did not match and his CSA expired so he took it again and failed. Personally I have no explanation for that.

Now the rationale to evaluate candidates bacame harder, because this is not only for the FMGs but for AMGs as well. Besides when it was the CSA, the rate of passing it at the first attempt was almos 95%

If you're confident about your own capabilities (Language, Communication and Interpersonal skills) there's really no difference on "Where" should you take the test.

"IMG friendly" sites is a myth for me, I've seen people passing in Phili and others failing in Atlanta.

My best advice for you is that, if you feel that there's some kind of a psychological effect on you concerning CS sites, then go to the one that you feel more comfortable with. It's all about you.. not the location.

I passed in Philly, and most of my friends passed in Philly as well. Know somebody who passed in Atlanta. For me Philly center is suoer comfortable: acommodations nearby, close to downtown and very nice people.

i took mine in phil, and i have a friend who took it in LA, and we had almost the same cases. actors in phil are very nice, and some time they tend to help you a bit. i took mine in the afternoon, i do not know if that made a different.....

but it is really nice place to take the test. over there they had this african lady who tried to cheer us up by making jokes, she was hillarious

I took it in Phili in the afternoon, and it was a great experience. Probably in the morning they are different, anyways, it is longer the morning session than the afternoon session

its maybe true that all centers are the same but it was discussed before that the atlanta center failed less people than other centers. I took my exam in atlanta and they have a good setting and nice staff.

No smoke without fire, Atlanat, Chicago and Houston seems to have better passing rates than the other 2. Well, Atlanta was my choice and it was were I passed the test on the first shot. GL
